Gentle In-Home Support for Mums
You don't have to do motherhood alone.
Whether you're adjusting to life with a newborn, juggling multiple little ones, recovering after birth, or simply feeling overwhelmed...
I'm here to lend a helping hand.
Gentle, practical in-home support that gives you space to breathe, rest, recover, and feel like yourself again.
Because every mother deserves support.
Welcome, Mama
Motherhood was never meant to be done alone.
Some days you feel like you're coping.
Other days you're surviving on cold coffee, interrupted sleep, endless washing, and trying to meet everyone's needs before your own.
Maybe you're...
A brand-new mum finding your feet
Recovering after birth
Feeling touched out and exhausted
Parenting without family nearby
Returning home after a difficult pregnancy
Looking after multiple children
Simply wishing someone would help without needing to ask
You don't need to "earn" support.
You simply deserve it.

Motherhood changed everything.
Like many mums, I experienced the loneliness, overwhelm, and identity shift that so often goes unseen. Living far from family meant there was no village waiting to help, and I quickly found myself trying to carry everything on my own.
After the birth of my first daughter, I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety. Every day felt like I was falling behind. The washing piled up, the dishes never seemed to end, the routines I thought I should have just weren't happening, and no matter how hard I tried, I constantly felt like I was failing.
Looking back, I realise I wasn't failing at all—I was simply trying to do a job that was never meant to be done alone.
One of the hardest lessons I learned was that asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, and it certainly isn't failure. As mothers, we so often pour everything we have into our children and families, leaving our own cups completely empty. But you can't keep pouring from an empty cup. You deserve care, support, and someone who is willing to help carry the load.
That experience is what inspired A Mother's Extra Hand.
This isn't just about folding washing or tidying kitchens. It's about giving mothers permission to breathe. It's about creating space to rest, recover, and feel supported without guilt. It's about reminding you that you matter too.
My hope is that every time I walk through your front door, you feel seen, cared for, and leave our time together feeling a little lighter than before.
With love,
Kirstin

Why Mothers Love This
Because sometimes the smallest help makes the biggest difference.
Imagine coming downstairs after a shower to find...
The dishes done.
Laundry folded.
Dinner started.
The lounge reset.
Someone asking how you are.
That's what A Mother's Extra Hand is all about.
Helping mothers breathe again.

DO I NEED TO CLEAN
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?
Absolutely not.
This is your safe space.
I'm coming to help—not judge.
CAN I REST WHILE

Yes.
Many mums choose to shower, nap, feed baby, go for a walk or simply enjoy a quiet cup of tea.
DO YOU LOOK
AFTER BABIES?
Yes.
If you'd like a shower, a meal, or simply ten quiet minutes.
IS THIS FOR
NEW MUMS?
Not at all.
Support is available for mothers in every season.
